Proposed posters for Kulturnatten 2010
Once a year all museums and cultural institutions are open at night here in Copenhagen. These posters are our entry for the student and graduate competition held by Kulturnatten among the creative schools in Copenhagen to help decide the identity for this years 'Kulturnatten'.
We circled around ideas about culture as diversity and that going to a museum is about watching and maybe being watched. We also wanted to incorporate some 1920/30's style eclectic newspaper typography in one of the proposals as we're big fans of retro typography.
The result was two beautiful posters: 'The gentleman with the double monocle' and 'The goldfish on display'
