Custom designed lounge and breakout space

Custom designed lounge and breakout space

—  interior design · lounge · custom design

We have had the pleasure of creating a very inviting and playful lounge for the IT Company Calldorado. They wanted to give the employees a more casual work space - that could also be used for hanging out after lunch and a cosy place for having a beer at the end of the week.
The furniture and the large wall painting plays with the orange and yellow colors from Calldorados visual identity. Together with a deep purple/burgundy and some fresh hints of pink it creates an exciting and surprising look. The wallpainting is a free interpretation of themes such as tech, IT, social media, mobile apps and computers in general.
The customised lounge plateau is built from grey MDF boards as large steps/terraces. It serves as a mini-audotorum and has a built in table with high chairs used for more serious work.
The grey breakout space contrasts the more colorful sofa arrangement which adds some balance to the room. The wall behind the breakout space has a raw concrete look with a just as raw neon sign hanging in one end and in the other end we spray painted 'Life is an appventure' wit hbig white stencil letters.
The long sofa table is from Peter Boy. The sofas are the Fuuga series by Busetti Garuti Redaelli. The lounge chairs are from Woud and the armchairs are from Normann Copenhagen.

On the wall behind gthe lounge there is a big floor to ceiling wall painting in yellow, orange and purple colors.
