This website was designed as a result of a two month research project at The Institute of Graphic Design, Denmark.
The purpose of the website was to host an index of local high schools and the research was aimed at investigating what captivates the pupils while looking for their future high-school. What would be the best presention the local high schools? - How do we make better materials that captivates and invites students and their parents to discuss the choice of future high school?
In short the conclusion of the research was that an interactive website was a far better alternative to the old printed information materials in terms of what would get the pupils attention. And therefore the final products where the website with blogging features for each high-school and a pamphlet and a poster to attract attention to the website.
In a dialogue with web-developer Jesper Spang we have further developed the idea into a more realistic website with plans for implementing the use of the site through introduction courses at high schools and local guidance centers.
