Facade for public counseling shop

We've just finished our proposal for the facade at the new public counseling shop in Holmbladsgade, Copenhagen. The counselors didn't want the facade to attract too much attention because the users are going through a rough time, when using their services. Therefore our solution had to be subtle. But at the same time they wanted a solution that potential users would notice.
Our solution to the problem is perforated corten steel plates - also called weathering steel. In about 2 months the corten steel gets a nice rough rusted texture feeling to it. The rusted color matches the nice red brown teak and cobber windows and door framing and the red bricks. The perforation on the steel plates consists of small holes with a diameter of 6, 10, 14, 18 and 22 mm. The holes are placed in a triangular grid with a 30 mm distance from center to center. From a distance the perforation forms a set of faces of typical users of the counseling shop.
The faces are more or less visible depending on which angle you see the steel plates from. This solves the demand for subtelty and yet it's interesting what happens when you turn your head or just walk by - the facade come alive!
The lower third of the windows are covered by semitransparent dust foil with english geomteric sans-serif lettering (Ministry by Rian Hughes) that match the rusted corten steel plates in color.
The foil is for cover for the sun and to hide the counselors and users from curious eyes - there is a busstop just outside the shop. The corner window is all covered in dust foil and a perforation like on the steel plates forms a picture of two girls. In hard sunshine you'll be able to see small spots of light on the inner walls coming from the holes in the corner window dustfoil.
