Five inspiring christmas wishes for the apartment: two cool lamps, a retro piggy bank, a spacerocket and a stool and table for Silke. What a mix! Let's hope all our wishes come true...
The First Wish is the Ingo Maurer lamp Gaku from the series The MaMo Naouchies that is co-designed with Dagmar Mombach. Ingo Maurer is one of my favourite lamp designer's. The Lucellino is already hanging in our living room.
The Second Wish is the Tripode G5 lamp by Santa & Cole. It's so neat with it's understated 50'ies retro lampshade and yet simple design. We want...
The Third Wish is the stool and table from Danish Collect Furniture's A-collection for kids. The simplicity and sturdiness goes hand in hand, and check out the cool feature with the drawer under the stool – Great Idea!
The Fourth Wish is the freshest piggy bank – or elephant bank. The elephant bank was designed for the Dresdner Bank's 100th anniversary in 1972 by Luigi Colani. (bonus info from Tobias: Colani's passion is strange new wave streamline car- and truckdesigns!) We saw an auction on e-bay with a set of three sizes for $119!!
The Fifth Wish is a miniature model of the red and white checkered Tintin Spacerocket. The picture below is from the Tintin Museum in Bruxelles. We found the miniature rocket at a newly opened online shop with Tintin merchandise. It would be perfect for Tobias' shelves above his desk.
